Ball
Gags and Bondage Gags
Ball
gags and Bondage were traditionally used by lovers playing S & M games. Nowadays,
however, ball gags and bondage gags are fast becoming a staple item in any sex
toy-box. Sex play can be so much fun when experimenting with a ball gag.
You
can make all the noise you want or try to but you won't wake the neighbours,
as the gag muffles your passionate screams and moans, whilst still allowing you
to lose control! It can be visually stimulating for your partner as well, allowing
both of you to enjoy the gag. Some people are sexually aroused by seeing the gagged person drooling. This can be induced by pulling the gagged person's lip for a minute. Once drooling starts, it is almost impossible to stop. This is sometimes used as a way of emphasising that they are in control of the bound person.
Ball
gags can be used in conjunction with all kinds of sex toys. If you want to experiment
with new sex games, allowing your partner to take a more dominant role, you may
want to combine your ball gag with sexy lingerie, bondage sex toys, bondage restraints
(hand-cuffs) and / or nipple clamps. All of which can add to the pleasure of the
sex game.
Check
out the many ball gags and bondage gags that we have on our Ball
Gag and Bondage Gag page. There is a gag there to suit everyone, from the
beginner to the more experienced.
Using
Gags Safely
It
is essential that you never leave anyone alone while they're gagged no matter
which type of gag you choose. It is possible for things to go wrong even if you
turn your back for a moment. Remember, even if you're just using a ball gag with
a gap around it, gags can interfere with someone's breathing. When using a gag
it may be difficult to breathe through the mouth so ensure that nostrils are clear.
Do not use gags whilst ill or suffering from colds, flu, or allergies. Make sure you constantly watch anyone you have gagged at all times.
Signals
Choose a 'signal' when using gags. While someone is gagged, they probably
won't be able to speak clearly, so they could perhaps stamp their feet or snap their fingers
should they wish to signal any distress or discomfort or should they need to attract
attention.
Bit
Gags
Bit gags, like the Leather
Horsebit Ball Gag consist of a bar that goes through the mouth, held by the
teeth, with straps which go behind the head. They aren't effective gags as it's
still possible to move the mouth slightly and make noise, however they're also
some of the safest to use in terms of avoiding suffocation.
Ball
Gags
There is a wide choice of ball gags available from the standard
solid style rubber gags, to ball gags which have air holes through them which
make breathing around them much easier. A well-fitting ball gag will prevent someone
from making anything more than a muffled sound. It will also prevent drooling.
Remember, solid ball gags do block the mouth completely, so you really need to
be careful to pay attention to breathing. Ball gags with air holes lessen this
problem, though they are somewhat less effective. Take care to choose the right
size ball gag. If it is too small it won't do its job properly - it will shift
easily and won't prevent talking or drooling. If it's too large, it will probably
hurt, if not immediately then after only a very short time.
Ring
Gags
Ring gags are similar to ball gags in that they hold the jaws open,
but unlike ball gags, they are not solid. Ring gags, as the name suggests, are
circular rings, allowing objects to be inserted into the mouth through the centre
of the ring. However take care not to let objects touch the back of the mouth
as this may cause gagging.
Inflatable
Gags
A custom fit can be achieved with inflatable gags as they can be
inflated until they fit the mouth snugly. However, pay attention as inflatable
gags can put pressure on the roof of the mouth which can cause the nose to block.
If you do use this type of gag, be aware that complications can arise very quickly.
